Around the World
Awlad always works with parents, communities and municipalities in developing the workshops to their individual needs. To be inclusive, the workshops are privately funded, making them free for all the children attending.
Since 2004, more than 30 workshops have been held in 3 countries. So far, personal grants have been sustaining our activities through Lebanon.
Our projects will be submitted in order to get financial support for the workshops and implementation of worldwide workshops to international organizations who promote children growth and creativity in different fields.
If our sponsors allow us to move forward, there are still great things we will be able to accomplish. Atelier Awlad is planning to organize workshops in France, Spain, United States, Germany, Greece, Crete, Uruguay, Guatemala, Mexico, Chile, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Additionally, when our organization becomes more rooted in the cities and countries we work in, special workshops will be set up in order to gather children from all the regions during the time of winter holidays, and hopefully, someday soon, during summer vacations.
Our goal is to promote the exchange of experience between different AWLAD groups around the world. To let them share their experiences, open up to each other, and discover others through the world. To communicate through art which is universal, through exhibitions and holidays meetings.
We also aim at uniting them to participate together in a commune project to change the vision and introduce another way to be more refined and human.
